Situated close to Canary Warf in the heart of London’s financial district this residence for international students, interns and backpackers offers a mixture single or twin en suite rooms as well as shared facilities and dormitory rooms.

There is a large communal kitchen, an eating area with seats, a table and a TV. This is a great place to relax and meet new people. There is High speed (20MB) Wifi available throughout building and in rooms and even a fully equipped gym to help keep you healthy during your stay in London.

Local Area and Attractions

Located on the edge of the River Thames, on the edge of Canary Wharf, Westferry is ideally located to reach Central London. Canary Wharf is a short walk, ideal for shopping or a coffee in one of its cafés overlooking the river. You are also walking distance to the famous Billingsgate Market and just a short trip across the river to the excellent O2 with its restaurants, cinemas, bowling alleys and world class concert venues.

Travel a little further and you have the beautiful village of Greenwich, home of the National Maritime Museum and the Royal Observatory. You can even use your Oyster card and start your journey home with a trip on the Emirates Cable Car which goes back across the Thames taking in some fantastic river views.

What type of rooms are available?

En-suite and non en-suite singles and twins are available for short term or long term bookings. A TV area, study room and your own lockable kitchen space allow you to live life in the heart of London the way that you choose.

Single Room

Completely private room, with quality bed, wardrobe, drawers and sink with vanity unit. Davies Court also provides en suite singles, which includes your own private toilet and shower.

Twin Room

Room shared with someone else of the same sex, each person having a quality bed, wardrobe, drawers and share a sink with shaving and vanity unit. These twins also include a toilet and a shower.

Where is the residence located?

Canary Wharf is a short walk, for shopping, cafés and restaurants or to catch a two minute train to the O2 Arena. There is also a station 200 metres away at Westferry (Zone 2) DLR station.

What can I book?

En-suite singles, twins, and non en-suite singles are available for short term or long term bookings.  A TV area, study room and your own lockable kitchen space allow you to live life in the heart of London the way that you choose.

Is it affordable?

The prices are among the best in London including all bills, contents insurance, 20MB Wi-Fi and LAN internet with Freeview TV access for every guest.

How much is the booking fee?

For bookings of less than 4 full weeks a booking fee of £50 will be added to the invoice.

Is the residence secure?

The residence has 24 hour key fob access and CCTV, whilst a porter is on duty throughout the night. Rooms and communal areas are serviced regularly.

Do I need to pay a damage/key deposit?

There is a refundable damage deposit or £300 and a key deposit of £30 to be paid directly to the residence prior to arrival. This deposit will be refunded at checkout assuming, of course, that the room has not been damaged and you have not lost the key of course.

Can I meet new people?

The experienced team focus on creating accommodation with a family atmosphere for all of their guests.  Shared kitchens are a great place to meet new friends in London.

Can I smoke in the accommodation?

Smoking in indoor public places such as student residences is not permitted in the UK. You can smoke outside the accommodation in designated smoking areas.
